7th Heaven Actress Beverly Mitchell Expecting Second Child

She’s in 7th Heaven! Actress Beverly Mitchell is expecting her second child. She and Michael Cameron, her husband of six years, are going to give their 17-month-old daughter a baby sibling. The couple announced their pregnancy this week, saying that they are excited to welcome baby number two early next year.

“#tbt to the place where Michael asked me to marry him, and this past year where we stood as a family of three! Can’t believe in 2015 we will be a family of 4!!!” the 33-year-old posted to her WhoSay account on Thursday. Her reps confirm the Mitchell’s announcement and tell reporters that the baby is due sometime early in the New Year.

The couple, who has been together since 2000, learned in 2012 that they were going to expand their family. They’d been waiting for the right time to have a baby, but they never really felt that any particular moment in their life was perfect for it.

“We didn’t think we were ready, but at the same time, what does that mean. It happened exactly when it should have for us,” she said of her first pregnancy. In March 2013, the couple welcomed a little girl by the name of Kenzie Lynn. Even though Mitchell admitted a long time ago that she always thought moms were a bit boring, she has since said that there is nothing better in life than motherhood.

“I fully embrace mommyhood to another level to where all I want to do is be a parent. I think what’s been surprising is just how natural and how amazing it is, and how I don’t really want to do anything else,” she said recently of being with her daughter. She will have little time to do anything else once she’s got a brand new baby and a 2-year-old in the house.
