Actor Ron Faber has passed away. He was 90.
The Obie Award winner and actor David Patrick Kelly took to Facebook to share the terrible news that Faber had passed away on March 26 from lung cancer. Faber was most known for his brief role in the 1970s horror classic The Exorcist.

“Ron Faber has passed,” Kelly wrote on April 26.
Faber entered the entertainment industry through radio and went on to study at the prestigious Lucille Lortel White Barn Theater in Westport, Connecticut. He was born on February 16, 1933, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In addition to Lucky Stiff at Playwrights Horizons, he has appeared in Troilus and Cressida at Lincoln Center’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre, Woyzeck at the Public Theatre, and And They Put Handcuffs on Flowers at the Mercer Arts Center, all of which are Off-Broadway.
The actor went on to make guest appearances on shows including Kojak, The Edge of Night, Law & Order, Third Watch, and Hope & Faith after his role in The Exorcist.
