William R. Gardell was born on the 20th August 1969, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA. Best known by the name Billy Gardell, he is a comedian, actor and a host, who rose to prominence with the roles of Mike Biggs in the comedy TV series “Mike And Molly” (2010-2016), but initially as Bruno in the film “Avenging Angelo” (2002).

While still at school, when Billy was 15 he got his first job at a warehouse, unloading trucks and pallets, then in 1987, he got a job at Bonkerz, as a toilet cleaner, but he got on the stage in one open mic night, as a bet with his colleagues, and with that event, his career in the entertainment industry began.
He soon started to perform every night, and eventually he opened for comedians such as George Carlin and Dennis Miller. His net worth was beginning to rise, however, his acting career began years later, as he made his debut with a small role in the highly popular TV comedy series “The King And Queens” in 2000, which was soon followed by a bigger role in TV series “Judging Amy”, in which he played Lyle Cooper. In 2002, Billy made his first film appearance in Martyn Burke’s accomplished “Avenging Angelo”, with Sylvester Stallone in the lead role.
