Daniel Cerny is an American actor and film editor. He has starred in the horror films Children of the Corn III: Urban Harvest and Demonic Toys, among other roles.

His parents are Czech Jewish immigrants to the U.S. They were dissidents in Prague, who moved to California, c. the early 1970s. His grandparents all survived the Holocaust.

Daniel’s brother, Andrei Cherny, is a lawyer, author, and politician, who was Chair of the Arizona Democratic Party, from January 22, 2011 to January 30, 2012.

Daniel’s maternal grandparents are named Arman Weltman and Ilse.
