Is a Third Sex and the City Movie Happening?

Could it be true? Is there really a new Sex and the City movie in the works? It was the big news on Twitter over the weekend when some of the stars of everyone’s favorite movie franchise posted some very teasing tweets about the possibility of a new SATC movie. We don’t know if it’s true or not, but what we do know is that the stars of the movie seem to think it is, so fasten your seatbelts and get on board for the ride.

Four years have passed since the last time we saw Carrie Bradshaw and her besties, and many of us diehard SATC fans are clamoring for another glimpse into the enviable lives of our favorite friends. And it looks like our dream might just come true. Recently, Jennifer Hudson – Academy Award winning actress and singer – hinted that there could be a third movie in the works. People are excited. “I think it might be happening. Somebody just came to me talking about it. So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. Look for it,” she said of a third SATC movie. Now, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kristen Davis have added fuel to the fire.

“@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3,” is the tweet issued by Kristin Davis over the weekend. She posed the tweet alongside a photo of herself and SJP at the premier of Sex and the City 2. It was a fairly innocent tweet in the eyes of most SATC fans until SJP decided to tweet back. “@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X,” is the tweet that sparked further rumors of a SATC reunion x3.

There is no official word on a third installment of the hit franchise, but if the stars are this excited, we are going to go ahead and dust off our Manolo Blahniks and start planning our premiere outfits.
