Patriots at Browns odds, line, picks: Expert predictions for Week 6 NFL game

Sunday’s Week 6 matchup between the New England Patriots and Cleveland Browns will be a battle between two teams looking to pull to .500 on the NFL season. The Browns, fresh off of a crushing last-second loss to the Chargers in Week 4, are small favorites at BetMGM to win.

Even without their top-dollar quarterback having taken the field yet, the Browns are somewhat surprisingly having their way on offense through five games. The defense is a bit behind, which probably would’ve been blasphemous to assume before the season started. For Cleveland to get back on track, it’ll need its defense to rise to the occasion. It has an ideal opportunity to do so against potentially a third-string quarterback, depending on the health of New England’s quarterback Mac Jones.

Speaking of defenses, how about the Patriots’ D? Last Sunday, New England held Detroit, the league’s highest-scoring team at the time, to zero points. Cleveland’s league-best rushing attack, spearheaded by Nick Chubb, will present an entirely different challenge than Detroit’s air-it-out offense from Week 5. Can the Patriots put together another dominant defensive performance?
