Update narration

Qatar will look to advance to the semi-finals stage of the Gold Cup for a second consecutive year, but Panama are the favorites to crush their opponent's hopes and dreams.

Panama striker Jose Fajardo leads the team in scoring with two goals -- both headers -- in just 156 minutes. He did not play in the final group stage match -- a draw against El Salvador -- and will be well rested against Qatar.

Fajardo, 29, must be aggressive from the start to help his country defeat Qatar for the first time. They have met twice since 2021 and Panama has suffered a defeat and a draw.

Kickoff is scheduled for 16:00 PT from AT&T Stadium. The national broadcast on FS1 is not the only way to enjoy this contest. Stream the quarter-finals on Sling TV or fuboTV. For Spanish-speaking viewers, Univision is the best option.
