South Windsor, NSW: Dash cam captures shocking scooter crash
A pizza delivery driver has been lucky to escape without serious injury after a collision on their scooter in Sydney’s northwest.
It happened last week in South Windsor, with dashcam vision showing the moment the delivery rider and a car collide.
The scooter can be seen in the vision stopped at an intersection with Drummond St, waiting on a red light.
As the light turns green, but without a green arrow, the scooter begins to turn right, across the path of an oncoming white sedan.
The people in the recording car can be heard exclaiming as the scooter and white sedan collide, throwing the rider over the bonnet and roof of the car, before he hits the road.

The people in the recording car ask the rider if he’s okay; according to their description of the video on dashcam Owners Australia, the rider said he was okay, got up, and walked to the side of the road.
“He refused to go to hospital. He was a rider for dominoes,” said the uploader.
New South Wales Police have been contacted for comment.
